Deeksha/Oneness Blessing

It has often been said that if you take one step towards the Divine, then the Divine will take a hundred steps towards you. We have so many ways of reaching out to the higher intelligence: Prayer, meditation, chanting, dancing — in fact every kind of spiritual practice from every tradition throughout history. Deeksha (the Sanskrit word, also known as the Oneness Blessing) is one way that the Divine reaches back out to humanity; it is a gift, a benediction of grace, which catalyzes the direct and personal experience of Awakening and God Realization in the recipient.
Deeksha results in a transformation in consciousness. It is the phenomenon behind the work of the Oneness movement/phenomenon. It is an act of energy transfer which takes place by touch or by the power of intent.
Deeksha is an ancient word derived from the Sanskrit language that refers to a “benediction” or a “gift”, or having to do with the notion of “transfer”—in short, the receipt of a gift and grace from the Divine, from God, that fuels the awakening process. Deeksha is a Blessing from the Divine that works to activate the kundalini, balance the chakras, and serves to intelligently guide the recipient on an individual, unique journey into higher states of consciousness, and ultimately into the state of Oneness itself.
Deeksha is a non-denominational direct and personal experience that transfers physical energy, awakening our connection with the Oneness in everything, allowing each of us to deepen our relationship with those we love, with ourselves, with strangers and with the Divine itself. It initiates a very personal and unique experience for each recipient, catalyzing the Awakening process within each of us, and serves as a powerful aid on your journey, regardless of which tradition or path you are involved with.
Deeksha works through initiating a physiological change in the brain. Deeksha results in the activation of certain centers (e.g., the frontal lobes) and the de-activation of certain other centers (e.g., the parietal lobes) thus bringing about a shift in the perception and experience of life.

Cost: No charge - any donation will be gratefully accepted to help pay for the use of the facility. The Deeksha Givers receive no compensation.
How is Deeksha given?
Deeksha is generally given when a Blessing giver places their hands on the recipient’s head for several seconds to a few minutes.
Can anyone receive the benefits of Deeksha?
Yes. It is not necessary to attend one of the formal Oneness Courses in order to receive the benefits of the Oneness Blessing. Everyone is invited to share in this grace.
Why has Deeksha come at this time?
We are entering an unprecedented period in human history which offers a unique possibility for a rapid evolution in consciousness. The vision of the Oneness movement is to actively and consciously participate in these transformative energies and to take full advantage of the opportunity that is being offered. 2012 is not a date, but rather a very specific phenomena that humanity is called to take part in. 2012 is not an end, but rather the beginning of a new phase in human evolution. The co-founders of Oneness, Sri Bhagavan and Sri Amma, are here to help with this transformation.
Who can offer Deeksha to others?
Deeksha can be transferred by anyone who has received the transmission and training during a special process now offered around the world, including in the U.S. These people are often referred to as Deeksha or Oneness Blessing Givers. The Deeksha Giver then works, as an empty vessel, for the energy to transfer to the recipient.
